What sort of thing are you looking for? I recommend looking into “A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle”, if you’re at all interested in science fiction.
I’m not entirely sure what I was expecting when I started this blog. I certainly didn’t expect to get a question already, even though I only made this last night. Well I say it was last night, it was more like four o’clock in the morning.
Still, it’s only one question. I’m sure there will be more to come though. Hopefully, anyway.
At any rate, nothing really happened at work today. Mr. Preston came in again today. He took out some books from the financial section but I’m not entirely sure they were what his attention was on. Which reminds me, I need to fix that top button of mine. And wear a sweater. Or two.
There were a couple of preteens in the occult section looking at “magic” books, pretending to cast spells and giggling to themselves until their parents came to take them home. Annoyingly, they didn’t put the books away before they left.
I think someone’s been putting fake books in the library as well, because I don’t think “The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1 by Miranda Goshawk” (one of the books they were reading) is a book that exists outside of Harry Potter. I took the fake books home with me. I did check the system to see if they were on there, but predictably they were not.
Whoever wrote this book put a lot of effort into it though. I think the sheets are made of real vellum and the cover seems to be made of a smooth leather sheet, wrapped around a cardboard core at any rate. I’ve also never heard of some of the “spells” in there and I’ve read enough fanfiction for that sort of thing to be embedded in my mind.
Whatever. I’ve put them on an empty bookshelf, where they’ll probably collect dust unless I bring it out for a laugh.

My favourite genre of literature? Well, I would have to say that science fiction has always peaked my interest. That, and the classic fairy tales by Hans Christian Anderson and the Brothers Grimm.
Nothing really happened today. Didn’t really do anything past drinking a lot of tea to keep me going. Decided to start a blog to catalog my days. I’ll see if I can’t visit a few people from the internet. Might spice up my life a little.
